Personal data we process
The Dutch Whistleblowers Authority processes your personal data when you use the Authority’s online tool, the Integrity Guide. Below is an overview of the personal data that are processed:

Purpose and legal basis for processing personal data
Your personal data are processed for the following purposes:
◈ To enable you to create an account on the Integrity Guide
◈ To contact you by email when necessary to deliver our services related to the Integrity Guide
◈ To analyse your browsing behaviour on the website and your computer configuration (the composition of your computer system) in anonymised form, in order to improve and optimise the website
How long we retain personal data
Your personal data will be retained no longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data were collected, with a maximum retention period of three years. After this period, personal data will be permanently deleted or anonymised.
Sharing personal data with third parties
Your data are not sold to third parties and are only shared when necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. A Data Processing Agreement has been concluded with Creapolis B.V., the organisation that processes your data on our behalf, to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your information. The Dutch Whistleblowers Authority remains responsible for these processing activities.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website uses functional and analytical cookies. A cookie is a small text file stored in the browser of your computer, tablet, or smartphone upon your first visit to our website. Functional cookies ensure that the website functions properly and that, for example, your preferences are remembered. These cookies also help optimise the performance of the website. This information allows us to study how the website (or its components) is used and to make improvements accordingly. The data collected are used only to improve the website. Google places the cookies, conducts the analysis, and reports the results, but has no independent authority over the data processed through these cookies. These data remain our property. We have concluded a Data Processing Agreement with Google for the use of Google Analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, or delete all previously stored information. Accessing, correcting, or deleting your data
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by the Authority. Additionally, you have the right to data portability, meaning you can request that we transfer the personal data we hold about you to you or another organisation of your choice.
